Who Are We?
Beyond Borders Creative (formerly Socially Mikayla Marketing) is a creative marketing studio specializing in social media and digital marketing for established businesses and growing brands.
Many of our clients have rich histories and strong reputations, but modern marketing — especially social media — feels overwhelming or unfamiliar. Others are newer businesses that have grown quickly and need guidance, structure, and consistency.
Our role isn’t to reinvent your brand — it’s to translate it into today’s digital world.
Socially Mikayla began as a personal brand rooted in relationships and hands-on social media support. As the business grew, so did the services, the team, and the clients we served.
The transition to Beyond Borders Creative reflects that evolution — from a solo business to a collaborative studio supporting clients across platforms, industries, and borders.
While the name has changed, our approach hasn’t. We’re still focused on strategy, connection, and marketing that actually works.

Founder & Creative Director
Hi, I’m Mikayla — founder and creative director of Beyond Borders Creative. I help brands tell their story through creative, data-driven marketing strategies that connect and convert. With a background in Sociology from the University of Western, over 10 years of experience working with diverse audiences, and more than 3 years as a marketing agency owner, I bring both strategic thinking and hands-on execution to every project.
Day to day, I lead client strategy, creative direction, and campaign planning across social media, content, websites, and short-term rental marketing. As a real estate investor and co-owner of The Bay House Retreat, I also bring a firsthand understanding of what it takes to build marketing that supports real business growth. I’m deeply relationship-driven and especially passionate about helping established and family-owned businesses show up confidently online.

Social Media Coordinator
With a background in both marketing and psychology, Lauryn brings a thoughtful, strategic approach to everything she does — from client account management and community engagement to content creation and ad campaign execution. She’s highly skilled in many facets of digital marketing and plays a key role in keeping our clients' social presence active, intentional, and on-brand.
Lauryn brings not only experience, but also an incredible energy to the team. She’s organized, creative, and genuinely fun to work with — and we can’t wait for you to get to know her too!

Content Creator
Funny story - I semi stalked her online as I was sourcing out vendors for my wedding and knew I was in need of a ‘Day of Wedding Content Creator’. Manuela is the owner of Love Lens in Chatham-Kent. I loved her work instantly and knew I had to work with her in some capacity once we met in person. Manuela supports our team and clients with various projects with her keen eye for design, video editing and content creation skills.

Darlene is a key part of our team who brings a wealth of experience and a unique perspective to our operations. With a background as a school principal for many years, she has honed exceptional leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Now retired from the education sector, she channels her expertise into keeping our office running smoothly as our dedicated Office Administrator.
Fun fact - she also happens to be the proud mom of Mikayla, making our team feel like one big family!

Design services for full custom websites start at $3,000 - $3,500+
Social media management packages start at $2,200 - $2,500+
